splendor in the fast

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

2 August 2017 - From this angle it appears that I am wearing a bib, a very pristine white bib at that.  I am observing from the kitchen periphery, so my attire makes some sense.  Mostly I get to watch the culinary action, smell the results of chopping and cooking, listen drowsily to meal production.  But this spot is also where I am served my treat... which means it is a place of great anticipation and satisfaction.  This picture was taken post-treat:  I know because otherwise, I would be standing on all fours, craned toward the shorter peep to gauge the remaining time.  Being the served, rather than the server, sounds like a plum role, but I can assure you it is quite stressful.
