Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

9 September 2017 - I am not a thrill-seeker (in fact I enjoy boredom), so obviously my pausing at the end of the dock, with water inches away from my haunches, isn't producing an adrenaline rush.  Similarly I will walk a three-inch railing, twelve feet above the ground... because I know that I can do these things without harm to myself.  Now, if there was evidence, or even a heard-it-three-times rumor, that we had a Nessie in our lake, I might still wander out the pier, but certainly wouldn't turn my back to threat.  I know, from many summers here in the hinterlands, that any danger in our neighborhood will be walking in.
