8 September 2017 - It is unreasonable to expect the night watchman to be an early riser, so sometimes the shorter peep stirs before I do.  Because my breakfast is served with hers I eventually do wander to the kitchen, but this morning I was in no particular hurry.  After reminding myself that I could catch more shut-eye in my post-meal nap, I joined her at the table.  At this time of day it is always just the two of us, so my absence would be a glaring one.  The taller peep and I could alternate these morning appearances, but so far he hasn't acted on my suggestion.  Excuse me while I go lie down.
