feathering my cat

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

6 September 2017 - I generally take a "live, and let live" approach, unless the creature tries to set up house in our home (such as last night's meep).  There are too-many-to-count beeps in our lake, and their daily paddle takes them past our shoreline.  We don't lay claim to the water beyond the end of the dock, but I definitely draw the line when one tries to roost on our gangplank.  They are such messy and noisy things, that I without exception enforce the no-loitering ordinance... and pay them a visit should they be slow to move on.  I try not to feel resentment in this busy work, but when they continue to interfere with my beauty rest, I do question their brain capacity and malign their parentage.  Uncharitable thoughts are preferable to drowning the trespassers.

lyrics of the day -

"Behold the Purred High Executioner

A personage of noble rank and title -

A dignified and potent officer,

Whose functions are particularly vital!"
