7 July 2018 - I know our hinterland house as well as my Florida home, and easily fit into either context.  I will admit that the absence, here at the lake, of my southern interloper is a positive thing: I am the uncontested king of this fiefdom, although I will pick no fight with the occasional Canada goose that alights on the water.  My main quibble, as you know, is the weak imitation of summer in these parts.  However having sunlight for seventeen hours is not shabby, although Mr. Sol is sleeping in until six these days (and going to bed a tad earlier as well).  Whatever is needed to keep his strength up, gets my support.
