9 October 2018 - How much more of this dreary weather can I take?  I feel so much more alive when the sun is shining.  My eyelids get incredibly heavy when the sky is blanketed by clouds.  My peeps try to brighten my spirits by illuminating the space with incandescent light (and it helps some), but mostly I miss my Florida October, where currently the overnight temperatures are higher than our local daytime highs... that is just not right or fair.  If only I could click my heels and be transported: "there's no place like home."
