2 October 2018 - Yesterday we had sunshine at the lake, not so today (or tomorrow it seems).  I am reliving yesterday's memory, when a walk in the front yard was pleasant and doable without getting sprinkled (or baptized).  As long as I know the difference between reality (just look out the window) and imagined (what I choose to picture in my mind), I see no problem with escapism.  It offers an alternative to stress and sadness... no wonder it has so many practitioners.
