10 November 2018 - After our morning refuel, the shorter peep and I typically make our way to the office.  During the early hours we have the place to ourselves, and can quickly dispatch the tasks awaiting in the in-basket.  I find our routine comforting, as I know what to expect, and where to find her.  Another obvious work bonus is that a lap is on offer.  My peeps largely eschew trends, so I am not too worried that they will invest in stand-up desks.  As manager I should have some say in any development that would make my job more difficult to accomplish.
