14 November 2018 - A gooseneck rocker and loads of books... yes, this spot is a favorite reading place of the shorter peep.  I am fond of the nook as well, since a lap is on hand when she is resident.  I could tell by her facial expression that she thought I was a bit too large for my selected perch (whereas I found it comfy, with an elevation advantage).  It is nigh impossible to control what flashes through our heads, so I took pleasure in the fact that she did not voice her concern that I would break the side table.  As you can see, like many fears, it was unfounded... although my dismount may lack in grace.
