4 July 2020 - Surely I am not the only one distressed by loud noises.  For the past few evenings I have had to regather my wits in my safe space.  The two resident peeps aren't the culprits, although even the best intentions can trip on the stairs or clatter a dish.  No, these unexpected and sharp bangs originate outside these walls... a relief that doesn't completely soothe.  Isn't it enough that I am just three weeks into this strange life?  Having to cope with more is really rubbing my fur in the wrong direction.
