Me-usings and Me-emories
9 Nov 2021 - We cats like to wear our no-nonsense personas, but it is really just for effect. To pose as a tweedy don is truly a contrast to our inner clown. How many times has the shorter peep called me "silly", and she knows me well. Dashing madcap through a room, leaping on and off the furniture, scrambling up the stairs: rational thought seems to have been jettisoned as excess weight. And then I engage in hide-and-seek, because hiding is fun. However I also wish to be found (so that I can skedaddle), which means that I have to keep a watchful eye on the proceedings. If you can remember what it was like to be a five-year-old, then you'll understand.
