1 Nov 2021 - Is it safe to come out? What was up last evening with the bang-bangs? Can a revenant be stopped by a bullet?? And then today is called All Hallows' Day... are additional specters being summoned? Obviously I have more questions than answers (and no wonder that I seek haven under the sofa). But the sun sprang forth this morning, as if everything is as it should be. Either it is oblivious to earthly travails or it is taking the long view. I am sure that I'll settle into a less jumpy state, once Mr. Sol has had time to curb the chill and to temper my fears. That I lived to share my story, and am taking stock of today's positives is all a good sign that the upset is temporary.
