Me-usings and Me-emories
2 Nov 2021 - Tucking limbs beneath the body is a cat's attempt to minimize exposure, i.e., conserve body heat. More and more our mornings are requiring such tactics, and with a bit less sunshine everyday the downturn, in temperature as well as my mood, is real. At least making my rounds gets the blood circulating, but I postpone the out-portal work until a less frigid time of the day. Interlopers experience the cold as well, so between sundown and mid-morning there is an informal armistice. It is not impossible for two opposing sides to come to an agreement.
