Me-usings and Me-emories
10 Nov 2021 - Employee morale slumps a tad mid-week, so an effective manager does what he can to enliven the office, whether it is a break with peep food provided (no temptation there for me) or a silly game. Anything that moves their thoughts away from drudgery is appreciated by all. I usually opt for silliness, since it pulls from my strengths and can be extemporized (and requires no currency). Even a mundane act, like swatting the mouse or scattering printer paper or digging through the waste bin, can be received in a positive fashion... especially if it is concluded with a tail-held-high skedaddle. As I said, pure silliness, but the chuckles are payment enough.
