16 May 2022 - Here is another porch pose for the record, and definitely a more active one than many examples.  My scaling the mountain is a work in progress, as I haven't made it all the way to the top on this slope (its western counterpart, a lower peak, is bested regularly).  However a year ago, I would not have advanced beyond placing my front two paws on its flank, and peering over its edge into the bushes.  I know I'm capable of reaching the top... it is just a matter of will, and should a jeering interloper be spotted on its tippy-top, then I am certain that I will find myself straddling its summit.
