Me-usings and Me-emories
11 May 2022 - I have let myself out the personal portal countless times, but that doesn't mean it is my preferred way to exit onto my screened porch. If I mew in a sufficiently needy way, the shorter peep will slide the heavy doors apart (I know, she is a sweetie), allowing me a more dignified passage. However if she doesn't respond quickly enough (sometimes she leaves our domicile for whatever reasons), I can and will head-butt my way through. The grumble is only momentary, as I am soon focused on catching interlopers.
