Me-usings and Me-emories
4 May 2022 - Based on my experience, gravity is an uneven force. Mostly it can be depended upon, to hold my paws to the floor (even if I wish to leap), to move things from high to low. Clearly it favors the down direction... and this bias is where I've detected the variation in its effect. When I am seated on a chair, such as pictured, my limbs quickly grow heavy... and I find myself stretching out, amenable to a nap. Were I on patrol, wandering the perimeter of our domicile, or even stock-still in observation of an interloper, gravity is less noticeable. Obviously it is still in play, as I'm not floating up toward the roof, but should I perch on a cushion gravity will squash me prostrate.
