Me-usings and Me-emories
11 Jun 2022 - When one is new to a job, the learning curve is steep... not that one (at least in security) should wear the newness openly. And should one also be in a supervisory position, a no-nonsense stance must be taken. I had whipped my screened-porch duties into a very manageable responsibility, but in this northern domicile I must begin anew. So I glare and sniff and lurk, and otherwise threaten the resident interlopers... until that time they have learned who is the boss. I've been walking this beat for less than a week... I must remember these summer classes have just begun, and not get discouraged.
Today's Catechism
(for the autodidcat)
Putting one foot in front of the other,
no matter how slow, is progress.
