12 Jun 2022 - Besides interlopers, on my perimeter patrol I make note of sunny patches.  It is not just the surroundings that are different in this northern domicile, the ambient temperature is considerable cooler than what I left behind on my screened porch... and you know how much I love heat, so this development is not much appreciated.  (This weather downturn might explain why I've seen no leeps since our arrival.)  But the shorter peep assures me that things will warm up... I just hope that I live long enough to enjoy another basking in Mr. Sol's glory.
