10 Jun 2022 - This spot is claimed by the shorter peep... but once it is vacated, it seems a shame to let the residual heat go to waste.  And I will certainly relinquish the cushy cushion when she returns to claim it (I'd rather have her lap anyway). When I'm not seeking warmth, the opposite end gives a great view of the deck and lake beyond.  On my perimeter patrol my nose has detected interloper odors, but so far the only inside trespassers I've encountered are tiny speeps, which I consider a zero-calorie snack.  But there are definitely things, bigger things, creeping around our exterior walls.
