6 Nov 2024 - It is back to work for me and the shorter peep... although I'll admit that the down time was much enjoyed.  Just this morning a large four-legged creature sauntered past this window.  It didn't seem interested in my presence on the ledge... which is a good thing since it was big.  But its stroll past our domicile is a reminder that interlopers are out there, and that my job will never end.  That could be a depressing thought, however we cats focus on the now and the task to be done.
