8 Nov 2024 - From your angle the world beyond our domicile looks tidy and inviting... but from where I sit one can see a huge pile of debris and destruction, the continued reminder of that violent weather we had so many days ago.  Interlopers aren't choosy:  they can hide in an overworked piece of topiary or in a trash pile.  My job remains the same, yet I prefer an orderly landscape, one that doesn't assault my eyes or ears.  My two peeps and I agree that picturesque quiet is the ideal setting.
