6 Jan 2026 - This corner of the office isn't a regular destination on my beat, but I heard a slight noise and had to investigate. I quickly ruled out the inert creatures inhabiting the corners of this photograph: they weren't the ones making the scritching sounds. Ultimately my mission was unsatisfactory, as I never found the source... and no, I wasn't hearing things, however it is possible that the culprit was on the other side of the office wall.
