9 Jan 2026 - There are photographs documenting my presence on the other side of this south-facing portal, but here I am as the interlopers would see me, my no-nonsense glare in evidence. It was another temperate day, with just the screen to separate me from them, so I spent a good bit of my shift working this guard post. I honestly can't say it was one for the record books, but I am no longer the teenager who longs for excitement.

Hitty and Archy are not big fans of many forms of excitement…they weren’t super thrilled by a visit from my bro and SIL….overtures to A and H were numerous, but deemed intriguing and somewhat dangerous
