Me-usings and Me-emories
2 January 2014 - Picasso's blue period is well-known and easily recognized, but there are numerous other artistic sorts likewise affected: Kerouac, Pollack, Miro, Van Gogh...even seemingly light-heared Charles Schultz. My funk is a seasonal one and short-lived, largely a result of losing my tree under which to sit. Although I didn't enjoy, nor did anyone else it seems, the chaos required to emerge "decorated", I do miss all the glitter and sparkle. But judging from past January experiences, I will soon enough acclimate to the more Spartan surroundings. My recovery would be hastened if we could somehow manage a bit more sunshine.
