brighten up my day

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

19 January 2014 - The winter sun's lower position in the sky weakens its light and lessens the ambient heat, but that makes me appreciate all the more a patch of its radiance.  You probably have noticed that hot air rises, and this fact is quite noticeable as one ascends the many stairs in our house.  This perch on the top floor railing is as high as I can reach without daring the barn ladder, and on cloudless mornings it is a prime location. A delicate balance between resting and alertness must be maintained, for to roll off this spot would mean a drop of twelve feet and the loss of dibbs.  Let this be the record of my staked claim.
