assault and pelter

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

7 January 2014 - Unfortunately our domicile has two entries, and I am but one sentinel.  So Old Man Winter slipped in the back door while I guarded the front.  It is very cheeky of an infrequent visitor to avoid the welcome mat and doorbell, acting like a member of the family.  I should not have underestimated his cunning, always a challenge when dealing with inferiors.  But the peeps do not hold me responsible for his incursion, and have continued to provide me with head scratches and, even more importantly given my failure to keep Winter off the property, warmed towels.  On balance my life is acceptable.

Having close friends is especially important with it is chilly out.
