hanging in the balance

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

15 January 2014 - To challenge myself I often do my yoga routine on a balance beam-width railing.  Although this pose is most commonly called "down dog", I really don't see the necessity of affiliating this body stretch with a dim deep.  Mine is just as worthy of emulation, plus it doesn't feature a tongue-lolling yawn.  No, I am deep into my body, exclaiming how marvelous an introspective life can be.  And note the language of my fifth appendage, a graceful salute to the supreme consciousness.  Join me, but until you have mastered this asana it is best to unroll your mat on the floor.

Today's Catechism

(for the self-taught)

Treat your body as a Shirley
Temple, and dance with abandon.

Bring back Bastet
Bastet beckons

Catty Corner

pose of the day -  angry cat, arching the back and tucking the chin, while exhaling, a great stretch that calms the mind and releases body tension (and warns on-lookers)
