Me-usings and Me-emories
18 May 2015 - Lately the shorter peep and I have been working on "heel". Over the course of thirty feet, she sticks with me fairly well, and we appear to be a team. But inevitably she will spot something along the way that requires further investigation, and she strays from my side. I patiently pause the lesson until once again I have her attention, and we stroll on. If I could just keep her focused on the task (but how? dangle a bit of chocolate in front of her nose?), I think that we could graduate to the next chapter. Someday, maybe, we will work on "fetch"...although at this point it is not skills-appropriate.
