6 July 2016 - I thought that you folks still tied to the grist mill might need something mid-week to soothe the eye and mind... so here I am, as soft as warm butter. We cats know how to give ourselves to the task at hand, and are consequently very careful what tasks we take up. But a nap is not one of those things to avoid. It gives back far more than the time taken, and helps put the crazy world into a proper (i.e., manageable) perspective. Somehow a few moments of resting the eyes also refreshes the world. Amazing! So slide your feet from their confining shoes and join me.
