8 July 2016 - I haven't been stretched out on the deck in days, so this photograph is offering me (and the peeps) hope that this return of spring weather (wet, blustery, locals would call it cool but I think that upper 50s in July in the northern hemisphere at near sea level deserves to be labeled cold) will end very soon.  We had been enjoying a long spell of dry warmth, so this turn-about is particularly harsh on the system.  But I can survive as long as a lap is available... it is my version of huddling 'round a fire.
