11 February 2017 - If you feel under-appreciated, take some solace in knowing that you are not alone.  If you give peeps the benefit of the doubt, then they wander through their days, virtually unaware of what goes on around them.  If, like me, you feel that sentient beings should not get off so lightly, then they appear to be uninterested in who and what might have smoothed their path.  Their cluelessness is so annoying, and underscores how they mistake normal for what is actually the result of a privileged position.  I feel better already for having vented.  Now I can return to the business of keeping our domicile safe... not that they would notice.
