10 October 2017 - From the floor alone, one can tell that I am no longer in the hinterland. The journey from there to here was incredibly long and very noisy, but eventually the distance was covered. After being cooped up for a total of sixteen hours, how delightful to be a free-range cat again. I have traversed the property several times, and things seem to be secure despite being without a sentry for more than three months. I am back on the job, and relishing the steamy Florida heat... my kind of perfect.
