Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

15 October 2017 - "Waiting" should be my middle name, a category unrecognized by T.S. Eliot.  The first suggestion of morning light awakens me, and I arise in need of sustenance.  Unfortunately for me, I can't fix my own breakfast (yes, there is always kibble in my bowl, but would you get excited about dry cereal that has laid out overnight?)... which means I must coax the shorter peep into the kitchen.  That I need to be gentle and inoffensive in this process (otherwise any forward motion will be lost), while suffering hunger, is my daily burden.  Eventually life stirs, and I am revived and our day begins.  It would be so much easier if IHOP delivered.

quote of the day -

"His mind is engaged in a rapt contemplation of the thought, of the thought, of the thought of his name."
