5 December 2017 - Have I awakened in the fabled closet of Imelda Meowcos?  I suspect the number of shoes owned by my shorter peep is an order of magnitude less... but there are still a ridiculous number, said by one who has no need for foot trappings.  Not that we felines are slouches in the glamour department.  Our insistence upon a well-groomed presentation is recognized by the dullest, and we tuxedoes are especially fortunate in always making a classy impact... with little effort.  I wouldn't go so far as to say that I have a footwear fetish, but I do enjoy sniffing a just-discarded shoe.  Its smells tell a nuanced story, and carry me on a journey without the unsettling distress of travel.
