Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

18 May 2018 - Just as savvy land buyers are asking for elevation numbers, I too have scoped out high perches in our domicile.  I am not so worried about salt-water intrusion as acid rain, since we are on day #5 of precipitation.  Building our house upon the sand really wasn't a bad plan, as water quickly is absorbed into the ground.  Our primary risk of flooding is too much too quickly, when we are inundated.  So if you are a very short peep, the sort that enjoys splashing in a puddle, you have to be out there immediately after the last thunder clap... otherwise there is just a damp spot on the ground.  Of course if you misjudge "last", there could just be a charred spot.
