7 May 2018 - Several times each week the taller peep rises early, not without grumbles, and pulls on colorful clothes (not his usual choice).  Then he disappears for the morning, soundly napping upon his return.  What I most anticipate in this ritual is his office breakfast, a meal he otherwise skips.  Everyone should have company when he dines, so I patiently sit with him, my quiet offer of solidarity.  For my thoughtfulness he often shares with me his bowl or plate, provided the shorter peep is not around.  We guys have to stick together in matters of importance.
