the school of tardy knocks

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

1 May 2018 - What a super surprise to see the shorter peep walk into our house!  And she seemed very pleased to have wended her way back home.  From a thorough sniff of her hands, I can't accuse her of two-timing me... but I do wonder what compels her to wander off.  I had a buddy twelve years ago who was prone to explore beyond our perimeter, and one hot day he failed to return from his journey.  I worry that such could be her fate, but clearly my fretting has not been a deterrent.  The philosopher in me acknowledges that the arc length of a friendship is unknown, so I must continue to set aside my irritation and enjoy her company.
