8 September 2018 - If thoughts could kill, that squeep would not be in the picture... permanently!  "Live and let live" is a fine sentiment, but I seriously doubt the author meant "let live under your nose".  A creature of more intelligence (or less cheek) would have taken up residence at the next cottage, and have the place virtually to itself.  Clearly my nemesis enjoys irking me (it certainly can't claim that it was unaware of my existence).  What to do??  My temporary solution (until a more lethal one presents itself) is to take my naps elsewhere, at least out of eyesight.  I can guarantee that absence will not make my heart grow fonder.
