21 September 2018 - Should I consider today's events a conspiracy when the only place to get warm is the office?  That certainly is a way to get me logging work hours, but I am still grumbling... the chilly start to my day was the beginning.  The shorter peep was building a fire in the living area, which I thought was a great start-the-weekend-early idea, but then the smoke alarm went off... so I scurried here to fume and concentrate heat.  I'll remind my readers that normally (meaning when the thermometer isn't iced up) I am not such a grouse.
