3 September 2018 - The shorter peep has been laboring away this weekend in the kitchen.  I can't be her sous chef (I refuse to wear a hair net), but am happy to keep her company (and am there should anything edible hit the floor).  Our month is off to an acceptable start in regards the weather:  light winds, comfortable temperatures, pools of sunshine.  If and when she finally removes the apron, I will remove myself to the deck and its tranquil view.  Who knows if tomorrow will be a fitting day to be outside?
