Me-usings and Me-emories
23 September 2018 - Oh, crikey! Two mornings in a row of fog rising from the lake. The official end of summer has left me sad and in need of a sympathetic lap. Fortunately the shorter peep, when not on kitchen duty, is happy to oblige me (secretly I think she is cold as well). There really is little one can do about the weather except complain or buy a bus ticket heading south. At times like this I wish that I had pockets in my suit so as to have some loose change (also aptly called mad money).
