16 Oct 2021 - We cats may not recognize time, but I certainly know what eternity feels like... and that would be yesterday.  Of course my jitters were spot-on, and I endured enough to cancel several lifetimes penned in a cage (spacious enough, but the emphasis here is involuntary confinement) inside a loud, rumbling piece of machinery.  The only thing that kept me from totally losing it was that my two peeps were always there, just outside my prison walls.  I won't dwell on the fact that the entire ordeal was of their making.  But the fact that you are reading my thoughts means that I survived.  Even better is that I have been reunited with my screened porch.  There is a Bastet.
