5 Oct 2021 - I pass through this room throughout the day, en route to the office or to the sun room (a toasty place to be when Mr. Sol is cooperating).  But only during the dark hours does this spot become the preferred snooze area.  Just picture this brown expanse contoured by two peep lumps, with me snuggled down in the valley.  Even I, of the early-morning active cat sort, am in no rush to stir from bed.  It isn't so much a case of sleepyhead, but rather a reluctance to forsake the warmth.  With the days shortening and interlopers dwindling, I find there is still ample time to complete my rounds... what is the rush?
