10 Oct 2021 - The shorter peep is a creature of habit (yeah, yeah, it takes one to know one): between my first-of-the-day treats and my first-of-the-day lap must come the washing up of breakfast dishes. I have tried hurrying her along, but now know that my patience will be rewarded without wasting the please-please energy. And if I must wait, there is no need to chill my paws on these floors. Offering elevation, a slightly warmer surface, and a good kitchen view (so I'll know when to bolt for the sofa where the lap will present itself), this bench can't be topped... well, I could settle in next to her coffee cup, but she frowns upon such presumption.
