9 Jul 2022 - Being sharp-eyed is not only my job requirement, but it also has its rewards... like knowing where and when sunny spots will appear. And, of course, I must wind myself into a tidy ball that exposes the most black fur to the radiant heat (this information to refute all of you who chuckle at a cat's pirouetting before settling into sleep). Later in the day, when Mr. Sol has angled deep into the west, this spot is claimed by the taller peep... perhaps he hasn't noticed its midday appeal (and not wishing competition I won't en"light"en him).
