30 Dec 2022 - Are there interlopers on our roof? My ears are keen, and I definitely heard an unusual noise above our office. It didn't repeat... just that once... which is particularly irritating, as a repetition might pinpoint the cause and take me off red alert. But no, I have to assume a worst-case scenario, which means I must remain vigilant until the answer is known. The good news is that after a lengthy time of tensed muscles and straining senses, I decided that there was no threat... and I could return to my cushy job of business manager.

Maybe you need to acquire a few webcams that will allow you to surveil the less visible flanks of the house! Any stray noises would be easily assessed from the comfort of your sunspot, personal porch, or heated towel
