17 Dec 2022 - The early beeps are busy, and so must I be.  The shorter peep is slower to rise on chilly mornings, I've noticed... but not me!  I have responsibilities and a fur coat (although it could be thicker).  Besides, I like to get in my first patrol before eating, my breakfast kibble being something to anticipate, like a thank-you gift, while my paws tread the cold boards.  Today at least Mr. Sol did not have to be begged to reveal himself, although he doesn't seem to be one-hundred percent... appearing later and later, keeping to the low road.  I do hope he hasn't caught one of these winter bugs.
