2 Sep 2023 - For the last few days, Mr. Sol has been doing his best... and for that I am grateful.  Out of the wind, in a sunny spot, one can almost pretend it is the height of summer... but in the shade, facing the breeze, one realizes the wishful thinking.  Everything out the various portals remains vibrant with color, and still abuzz with interlopers, packing for the long chill.  Now my job is maintaining the line between outside and in, especially now with the temperature differences between the two areas so noticeable.  Vigilance is required, but I can handle it.
