8 Sep 2023 - Typically if I am snoozing in the bedroom, I am taking advantage of a comfy bed... but I decided (who can say what neurons fired) that I'd perch on this chair.  Already filled with this and that, it didn't offer much room, enough to curl up on and no more.  The previous night I had chased a meep in this area, and the sneaky thing found a small enough space that I couldn't reach nor flush it.  While the rest of me rested, my upper ear listened for a rustle that signalled the meep's creeping forth under cover of darkness.  I see very well in darkness, but my sleep was undisturbed.
